Take three experienced, enthusiastic, musicians, with a love of playing and performing, mix in a dash of incentive, a generous portion of imagination and creativity, let simmer and an exciting  new band is born called:

"Brass N' Ivory"

"Brass N' Ivory" is a trio consisting of cornet, piano/keyboards and sousaphone/bass, each of our members is also capable of providing vocals. In addition we have many musician friends that we can call upon, should the event or venue require a larger band.

While our music has it's roots in the jazz idiom, we never lose sight of the melody of a tune, so you never have to guess what we might be playing. The basis of our repertoire consists of songs from "The Great American Songbook", written and composed by the likes of Cole Porter, Hoagy Carmichael, Irving Berlin etc. and performed by Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett and more recently by Rod Stewart, Linda Ronstadt and Willie Nelson. For variety we throw in a few folk, pop, and Tijuana Brass tunes from the 60's & 70's.

"Brass N' Ivory" is definitely a band that  should be considered for your next event, we provide dancing and listening entertainment for parties, promotional events, conventions, lounges, clubs etc.
